Stretching

Physical Therapy Treatments Stretching is a treatment technique used to increase the flexibility and mobility of soft tissues such as muscles, ligaments and tendons. Improving flexibility through stretching improves joint function, improves your muscle’s tolerance for physical activity, and improves circulation.

Muscles, ligaments and tendons are often tight and painful after an injury, illness or surgery. Stretching is often an integral part of your rehabilitation program.
